Rage wurde mit drei Awards am öftesten ausgezeichnet. Gleich dahinter folgen der Nintendo 3DS, Portal 2 und Dance Central mit je zwei Auszeichnungen. Das Tanzspiel überrascht außerdem als “Best Original Game” und es überrascht auch, dass kein Nintendo-Spiel zu den Preisträgern gehört. Der neue Zelda-Titel steckte wohl noch immer etwas zu sehr in der “Beta-Phase” und auch Kirby’s Epic Yarn konnte die Jury letztendlich doch nicht begeistern.
