Wie jedes Jahr werden auch nach dieser E3 die aufsehenerregensten Produkte der Messe mit dem Game Critics Award ausgezeichnet. 31 Juroren aus der Videospielbranche gaben nun ihre Vorschläge ab, wer den begehrten Preis erhalten sollte.
Rage von id/Bethesda Games ist mit fünf Nominierungen am öftesten vertreten, darunter auch in der Kategorie “Best of Show”. Danach folgen Dance Central, Epic Mickey und Portal 2 mit jeweils vier. Spiele von Electronic Arts wurden mit 15 Nominierungen am häufigsten gewählt. Mit insgesamt 46 XBox-Spielen wurden von dieser Konsole die meisten Titel nominiert.
