Uncharted 2 ist zur Zeit das Maß aller Dinge im Action Adventure Genre und das schreit ja geradezu nach einem Nachfolger! Der dritte Teil von Uncharted wird auch 100% kommen, doch die Frage, ob die Uncharted Reihe dann noch playstation-only sein wird, steht weiter im Raum. Amy Henning, Creative Director bei Naughty Dog, äußerte sich jetzt dazu oder sagen wir eher sie versucht es:
I don’t think I’m able to talk about any of that right now. On a completely general level, the PS3 is an amazing piece of hardware that both us and other developers are only now tapping into its full potential. There’s a lot of life in that box. That’s really the best answer I can give you.
Klar sind die Möglichkeiten der Playstation 3 größer als bei der 360 und Wii hinsichtlich der Grafik usw., aber noch mehr Games in dem Umlauf zu bringen, wirkt auch verführerisch. Ein Release auf der XBox wäre denkbar und bestimmt machbar.
Zum Kinofilm gibt es auch noch was zu sagen. Produziert wird der Streifen nämlich von Columbia Pictures, die mit Filmen, wie “Terminator: Die Erlösung”, “Illuminati” oder “Die Entführung der U-Bahn Pelham 123″ dieses Jahr schon einige Actionkracher produziert haben. Und der Kinoumsatz beweist, dass Columbia Pictures ein gutes Händchen bei Verfilmungen haben.
Und Naughty Dog kann sich auch niemand besseren vorstellen:
We’ve got the best possible partners we could in Columbia Pictures. If anybody’s got any fears of them not understanding the material or not loving it as much as we do, they can wipe those fears away, because these guys really get it. I can say from the meetings I’ve had with them so far, their hearts and their heads are absolutely in the right place.
Mal gespannt, wer Nathan Drake spielen wird…Nolan North als Synchronsprecher muss aber auf jeden Fall mit von der Partie sein. Obwohl, irgendwie könnte er Nathan auch direkt spielen ;) :
